FACULTY

S.G.P.T.A has qualified and dedicated teachers who form the backbone of the school. They create a very friendly environment for students to develop their skills, personality and overall development. When young minds are moulded and their character formed, a nation is built. To achieve this great mission of nation building, the institution follows a child-centered curriculum based on state board pattern, supplemented with co-curricular and extra-curricular programmes.

Our teachers are given regular training through workshops and empowerment programs to enhance their teaching skills further so as togive the best to student community. Since its inception, the institution has taken huge strides towards excellence in all spheres of education. Regular upgrading of the facilities and facilities is a top priority with the management. The backbone of the institution is the innovative, versatile and technologically advanced curriculum. Excellence is more than a motto here.

SCIENCE

The school has a well equipped and spacious Science Laboratory. Every student is provided with a separate set of instruments required to perform a practical. Handling of apparatus in a proper manner is explained and later supervised. Each student maintains separate records for each of Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Our lab is well equipped with many scientific tools, mathematical instruments and teaching aids related to relevant subjects which help the students to understand and appreciate the theory in a practical way.

As computers are widely used today, acquiring computer knowledge is the need of the modern times. The computer laboratory of our school is equipped with 20 computers. Computer education is compulsory for all students from Class 1 to 10. The lower class students are introduced to the concept of machines, Basic parts of a computer and their respective usage. They are acquainted with Introduction to MS paint and about various tools and features in it. They are taught the basic difference between software and Hardware.

We recognize that books have a large role in building the future of our students. Keeping this in view we inculcate reading habits in our students The schools library has a rich collection of books on various subjects like Literature, Science History, Theology, Book of records, Dictionaries, Atlas, Magazines, Newspaper etc.

Processes and concepts that are difficult to express in words can often be explained more effectively through audio visual aids as pictures can have a more immediate effect on our emotions than words. The Audio Visual room of our school was incorporated on this very belief. The schools kindergarten classrooms are all equipped with Audio Visual aids and very soon this facility will be extended to all the other classrooms as well.
